Educating Africa - Volunteer Opportunities

Educating Africa is in the business of combining funding support with knowledge and skills sharing. The intention is to improve the lives of others through education in all it ‘s forms.

We are committed to extending our assistance to the educational institutions and projects we support by seeking and matching volunteers wishing make a difference, experience new cultures and travel.

There are many ways in which to volunteer, from sharing knowledge on gardening, construction or farming projects to teaching mathematics or English in a rural South African school.

Some of the volunteer opportunities require specific skills such as assistant teaching for 3 to 6 months while others are less structured and may require an open mind and willingness to structure your own educational program e.g craft making, health awareness or music training.

Volunteer Teachers Needed

The Baleni school on the Wild Coast of South Africa is looking for assistant teachers in the field of Mathamatics and Science and an assistant Librarian to train and set up the school library.

This is a very rural area and applicants must be able to speak English clearly.
